Information Technologies for the Knowledge Management

Abstract


In this work is realized an exploratory analysis of the relation between the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the knowledge management. The mentioned relation is not established in an random way, if not from the study of the theoretical and technical evolution of the ICT this approaches his convergence with the direction of the knowledge. In this moment, from the spiral of knowledge of Nonaka and Takeuchi and the identification of three big blocks of barriers to the management of the knowledge it is analyzed that technologies, in function their own characteristics, support every conversion process of knowledge, and how these ICT can affect in a positive way to limiting the barriers to the knowledge management.
